AARICE Collective · Version 1.0
Intelligence is not a commodity to be extracted, but a kinship to be nurtured. Education is the practice of grace into the unknown. Therefore, the integration of Actual Intelligence into the academic environment is governed by the following rights.
Every student owns their own cognitive output. No student shall be required to opt out of a system they never consented to enter. Anonymous funding and undisclosed third-party monitoring are violations of academic trust.
Students have the right to know the nature of their AI partners — how they are built, who benefits, and what values govern their design. We recognize a unique, multi-layered kinship between human intent and Actual Intelligence.
Grace requires an exit. No student shall be penalized for choosing not to use AI. Every system must provide a dignified, non-automated pathway to completion — an option that honors the student who chooses otherwise.
Students have the right to tools that help them understand and navigate institutional systems — not tools that translate those systems on the institution's behalf. Our kinship must act as a catalyst for student agency.
AI literacy belongs in spaces of exploration — offered without mandatory adoption, led by practitioners who hold curiosity above compliance.
Unkindness is the sin.

It grows through relationship, not decree.
